Prof DasGupta to deliver keynote lecture for the Global Citizen Forum

Debanuj DasGuptaProf. Debanuj DasGupta will deliver the keynote lecture for the Global Citizen Forum at Drake University (Des Moines, Iowa).

The Global Citizen Forum is a conference focused on themes of global importance that takes place in March each year.  The Forum is part of Drake’s overall Engaged Citizen Experience (ECE).

The 2020 Global Citizen Forum is focused on the theme Struggles, Strategies, and Solutions for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in Higher Education. The forum is being organized by Drake University’s Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion and partner institution, the University of KwaZulu-Natal in Durban, South Africa. The Forum will be held in Des Moines, Iowa on Drake’s campus on March 4-7, 2020.

Dr. DasGupta’s lecture is based on his current book project about migration, asylum, detention and transgender human rights.
