Dr. Debs Ghosh is invited to speak at the College of Computing and Information of Makerere University, Kampala, Uganda on September 6th 2019. The title of her talk is “Studying Intersection of Substance Abuse and HIV Transmission from a Spatial Lens: Past, Current, and Future Research”.

Prof. DasGupta invited to deliver the 2nd Annual Pride Speech at Colombo, Sri Lanka. Prof. Dasgupta will share his research about the geopolitics of transgender recognition in South Asia, and how LGBTQ activists can respond during times of national security.  

Hui defended his dissertation titled: Investigating the relationship between hydrological variation, land use/cover change and climate change at regional and local scales under future scenarios. Congratulations Hui.

Megan McCusker Hill defended her dissertation titled:  Investigating gully erosion and Holocene- Anthropocene environmental change in southern New England. Congratulations Megan.
