Current Research Interests

Dr. Park’s research examines environmental health and health disparities through a geographic lens, focusing on how dynamic human mobility across space and time shapes environmental exposures and health outcomes. She develops and applies GIS methods, geospatial data analytics, mobile and low-cost sensing, GPS and indoor positioning systems, machine learning, spatial statistics, and community-engaged approaches to understand environmental exposures and their uneven distribution and impacts across populations. Her recent work extends exposure and health assessment across indoor and outdoor environments by capturing indoor-outdoor spatial dynamics and examining how people’s movements across these spaces shape their actual exposures.
